I haven’t blogged much, mainly because I’ve be very active in the Gull. A year ago I was busy cutting of the foredeck and adding hatches.

At the time I couldn’t have dreamt how much use the the Gull would have had.

I finished the Gull in time for the Christmas cruise, detailed previously. January saw my first cruise with the DCA, this Sunday saw my tenth. This has included four Solent crossings, a few weeks ago I saw another Gull sailing, they are small, but mighty, craft.

The Gull has been to Cornwall and explored the Rivers and sound with my Daughter.

I’ve slept onboard about 7 times and on my 4th iteration of sleeping platform.

I have also had two enjoyable weeks at the DCA Cobner camp, lots of sailing, boat chat and upgrades.

As the nights draw in hopefully I will report on my version of a cruising dinghy.
