Dinghy cruising is all about the planning. With little wind but the tide to play with and a nineteen year old daughter to entertain (home from teaching sailing in Greece since April) can a Gull compete with big wind and waves cat sailing.
So took the dying flood up to St Johns lake (off the Tamar). Sailed over the road we had driven down earlier in the day.

Rowed back to deeper water, anchored up and cooked up some sausages. This allowed the tide to change and take us home.
