Fantasy Boat list, all boats can be sailed without any downsides, they are just available to sail where ever you want, with who ever you want and the conditions are perfect.
A Class Cat – now that just looks like too much fun
Beatle cat – completely different but image a summer evening sail in New England
Cheers – the 1968 monster beating Proa, still sailing in France and declared a Historical monument
Dragon – pure beauty, one for Cowes week
Eboat – loved the simple stripped down look of the E boat when I was a growing up
Flicka 20 – imagine this rugged little cruiser on the west coat of Scotland
Gull – the first sailboat I wind to sea in, a great adventure
Hurley 22 – this little boat has done some serious ocean cruising
IC – the IC has to be my all time favourite boat
Jzerro – I am obsessed with Proas, and this Russell Brown one is one of the best, see http://youtu.be/ouvUu0FzhzY
K- 1 – great little single handed keelboat with cool self tacking jib
Longshore 19 – salty little minimal cruiser, been in love with this one since reading a review, back in the eighties I think
Moth – this has to be the performance ultimate dinghy
Nicholson 32 – the hero of 79 Fastnet
Oyster 55 – the boat to take you anywhere, the more rugged looks IHO are prettier than the new Oysters
Phantom Cat – you don’t really need an AC cat
Q Class – went looking for a Q and found this beauty
RS Aero – if my club sailed these I would get one, if the budget allowed
Streaker – one of my current boats, light, responsive and great racing
TRiAK – super, simple and well designed sailing kayak
Ultra 30 – loved follow the sailing reports of these back in the day
Velsheda – have been very close to this classic, the sight her at anchor in a Caribbean bay, mast towing above everything, as the sun went down was awesome.
Wally Nano – well you have to have a Wally, but just a little one, not in pink mind
Xc-38 – yes I admit it this one was just added to complete X
Youkou-Lili – I could of filled most of the list with Vivier, definitely my favourite current small boat designer
Zephyr (Francis Sweisguth, Star designer) – another one I had to go looking for, but what is not to like.
XOD would have been a good choice
