Wednesday night pursuit, sometimes 10knots, sometimes less and as usual shifty.

Start was tricky. Was on the water early and attempted the start a number of times. The start line was such that the starboard tack took you away from the line. So port tack start. The eventual winner had the same idea and with 20 seconds to go all good when there was a shift and I had to duck two boats on starboard loosing a bit but not much ground. This was probably my biggest error in the race.

So came 16th out of 32 which must be one of my best results in a fleet that size
Improvements, I feel that I’m slow getting back to speed after a tack and certainly don’t have a light wind roll tack technique.
